Sunshine Mastering is Austria's leading mastering facility offering the best Engineers, great Acoustics and a selection of the finest gear available - the WSDG designed three room facility is on the bleeding edge of acoustic and technical feasability.

Since 1995 Sunshine Mastering has provided their mastering services to countless award winnig gold and platinum selling artists and labels. While High End mastering is the studios main focus, Sunshine Mastering also has a history of award winnig post production work and the production of audio books. 

The studio is located in the heart of Margareten, an upcomming district of Vienna which is attracting many new studios, artists and emerging ad agencies. Supporting this hip new demographic is a wide range of nearby bars and restaurants.  And, Vienna’s coolest shopping district is a short walk from Sunshine.

eMASTERING SERVICE NOW ONLINE!

It took us a lot longer than we wanted, but finally our eMastering Service is worth it's name: We have been 'Remote-mastereing' via FTP and YouSendIt for years, but  while up until today it was merely possible, demanding a lot of discussing and explaining of the 'how to', our swift new system works like a charm and makes our work a lot easier which is why we can offer the eMastering service at an even lower price piont than before!

Now you just need to create your account, enter the Project details, chose the Engineer and upload all your files. You get a quote for the price and in case you accept it you will be forwarded to our payment provider, where you can make the payment via Credit Card and have some Beer, Caipirinhas or whatever you like while we bring out the best in your music.

BYE BYE SSL 6056, HELLO SSL MATRIX

For the last 8 years our SSL 6056 E/G+ did a great job churning out numerous hits - but time has moved on... The demand of a speeded up and more flexible workflow,the necessity (?) to change things until (and after) the last deadline has come and ever shrinking budgets led us to the decission to take a new approach. After 15 successful years we closed the doors of our Studio in the Garbergasse (Studio 4 and 5), rebuild Studio 2 and move our gear there to build a perfect hybrid Mixing Suite - with an SSL Matrix and a couple of X-Racks as center pieces.

Besides regular 'Full' Mixes we are now able to offer 'Mix - Tuning' - fine tuning of Mixes that have been made in less than perfect Room Acoustics with little or no outboard gear and breath some life and Rock n Roll into your Music. Simmilar to 'Stem- ' or 'Seperation Mastering', but with mixering rather than mastering in mind (since we believe those two should not be mixed up), more 'Mix specific' gear but all in a 'Mastering Grade'  acoustic environment....

CHRISTINA STÜRMER 'IN DIESER STADT'

Digital is fun! Especially with extremely successful artists like Echo winning Christina Stürmer who tend to release so many slightly different versions of their Albums and Singles (CDs for each territory, Bonus Packs, CD+DVD versions, iTunes, iTunes Deluxe, Musicload, ...). Slightly different UPCs and slightly different tracklistings in many different versions - this type of fun! Recently Mischa Janisch did 8 DDPi's of her Album and 7 DDPi's of her Single - besides mastering the Audio... The Album hit #1 the first week after release, congratulations Christina.

SUNSHINE MASTERING INSTALLS MANLEY MASTERING BACKBONE SERIAL #001

It DID take some time - but we are very happy nevertheless... We first talked tu Hutch (the Designer) in 2004 at the AES in Berlin. In 2007 at the in Vienna he brought the first prototype, which we ordered the moment we saw it. It still took some time to the final delivery in August 2008 because everyone at Manley cares - they wouldn't let go the product unless it was perfect - which we have to admit it is - ERGONOMICS & Tech Specs (Noisefloor, Distortion, ...) definitely Rock, but most important of all - it simply sounds great!
