Mastering Engineer
He started his professional career in the music biz in the early 90ies as a drummer and songwriter. Having always been interested in recording and production it did not take long that during the recording of his his bands first album that he eventually took over the Engineers seat... In 1995 he joined Sunshine Music as a freelance Engineer and later as the co-owner of studio in the Garbergasse. The first years at Sunshine he worked as a Producer and Mix Engineer, but in the late 90ies he gravitated towads mastering. At that time Austria was lacking a real mastering studio, so it didn't take long and the mastering side of the studio developed a life of it's own. In 2004 Sunshine Mastering was founded and in 2008 when they moved into the new facility Mischa Janisch was appointed head of mastering.
The main focus of his work is on any type of music that features recocordings of real instruments from Pop and Rock through Alternative and Jazz.
